Job summary

Forge Talent Group in London is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to develop relationships with customers, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders across London and Home Counties. The role combines technical knowledge with commercial and customer-facing responsibilities in concrete, structural precast construction.

Qualifications

• We are seeking candidates with experience in concrete, structural, precast or construction sectors.
• Backgrounds in sales engineering, technical sales or related roles are desirable.
• Candidates should understand project requirements and client environments.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors and construction professionals.
• Identifying and developing new sales opportunities across London and the surrounding regions.
• Providing technical and commercial support throughout the sales process.
• Understanding project requirements and recommending appropriate structural solutions.
• Working with engineering and technical teams to develop solutions for specific projects.
• Presenting products and technical solutions to customers, consultants and project teams.
• Monitoring projects from initial specification through to delivery.
• Building relationships with structural engineers, architects, contractors and precast manufacturers.
• Keeping up to date with developments in construction methods, structural design and industry standards.
• Attending site visits, meetings, industry events and customer presentations as required.
