Job Description:

Senior Revit Technician for Energy and Power Projects (up to £60k with Hybrid / Remote options)

Our client is a large multidisciplinary design consultancy operating throughout the UK, working on major energy and power frameworks. They are seeking experienced Revit technicians to support their Energy and Power networks team, providing high-end technical support for projects involving companies like National Grid, SSE, and UKPN.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive team, lead the production of Revit models and CAD drawings, and contribute to all stages of design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit.
• Prepare engineering models and drawings from sketches and design information.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, clients, and internal teams to ensure multidisciplinary delivery.
• Use BIM technologies in cloud and managed systems to prepare engineering drawings for various project stages.
• Manage drafting aspects of projects, driving collaboration across teams.

Experience, Skills, and Education:

• HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred.
• Proven experience as a Revit Technician in the power and energy sector, especially with energy infrastructure projects like substations and industrial facilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM templates, and collaborative information management software.
• Experience with digital platforms such as BIM360 is advantageous; training will be provided if needed.
