Job Description:

Senior Revit Technician for Energy and Power projects (up to £60k with Hybrid / remote options available)

Our client, a large multidisciplinary design consultancy with offices across the UK, is working on major energy and power frameworks. They are seeking experienced Revit technicians to support their Energy and Power networks team, providing high-end technical support for companies like National Grid, SSE, and UKPN on large infrastructure projects.

This role offers an opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive team and lead the production of Revit Models and CAD drawings throughout all design stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and oversee coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit.
• Prepare engineering models and drawings from sketches and design data.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, clients, and internal teams to ensure multidisciplinary delivery.
• Utilize BIM technologies in cloud and managed systems to prepare drawings for conception, planning, tender, building warrant, and construction stages.
• Manage drafting aspects of projects, promoting collaboration.

Experience, Skills, and Education:

• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred.
• Proven experience as a Revit Technician in the power and energy sector, particularly in designing substations, switching stations, hubs, or heavy industrial projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM templates, and collaborative information management software.
• Experience with digital platforms like BIM360 is advantageous; training will be provided.
