Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder seeks an experienced Structural Repairs Operative for our Watford base, with travel to sites across London and the South East. You will perform specialist repairs on brickwork, masonry and concrete structures and work closely with a supportive team to ensure high-quality results.

The role requires a hands-on, safe, methodical approach and a background in bricklaying, plastering, masonry or structural repairs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the construction industry, ideally in bricklaying, plastering, masonry or structural repairs.
• Practical skill and hands-on capability on site.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out structural repairs to brickwork, masonry and concrete structures.
• Undertaking crack repairs, masonry reinforcement and associated repair work.
• Assisting with the installation of specialist anchors, wall ties, reinforcement bars and restraint systems, where trained and competent.
• Carrying out repairs using modern specialist techniques and traditional building methods.
• Following repair specifications, instructions and guidance from the relevant management team.
• Preparing work areas and ensuring materials, tools and equipment are ready for use.
• Working alongside the supporting labourer and delegating day-to-day practical tasks as appropriate.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and to the required standard.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Using tools and equipment correctly and reporting any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Following company health and safety procedures and site-specific requirements.
• Communicating professionally with colleagues, management and other people on site.
• Travelling to sites across London and the South East as required.
• Supporting the wider team with a variety of structural repair and construction duties
