I am actively seeking a skilled Structural Project Engineer to join a busy, successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Chorley. As a Structural Project Engineer, you will assist in managing one of their busiest civil teams where you will have the opportunity to produce detailed designs for various projects, such as highways and drainage designs.

It is essential for the Structural Project Engineer to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Structural design, including steelwork, masonry construction, and reinforced concrete
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or HNC in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Knowledge of technical software such as AutoCAD or equivalent design software
• Chartered or willing to work towards a chartership

Duties and responsibilities for this Structural Project Engineer include:

• Communicating and interacting with external clients and professionals
• Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and reports
• Ensuring compliance with building regulations and industry standards
• Preparing reports on highways and drainage designs
