Were looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a 360 role where youll manage the full life cycle of automatic sprinkler system projects - from design to installation - ensuring theyre delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The Multi-Works Division is on hand to primarily provide end users and the current client base both technical and economical solutions using or replacing existing water supplies.

The candidate will be expected to run multiple jobs of varying sizes.

Multi-Works contracts are anything from 5k to 2.5million and cover the whole spectrum of system types and standards including special risk.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, you will lead and manage the full lifecycle of automatic sprinkler system projects, from initial design through to final installation. Your responsibilities will include producing and reviewing technical drawings and specifications, overseeing procurement, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors. Youll conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design standards, attend project handovers and client meetings, and monitor progress against project timelines.

Additionally, youll prepare and manage risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH documentation, while maintaining accurate as-fitted drawings and project records. Collaboration is key - youll work closely with internal teams, support junior engineers, and help foster strong client relationships to encourage repeat business. Youll also contribute to company initiatives, training, and continuous improvement efforts.

What Youll Bring

• Experience in a similar engineering/project management role.
• Knowledge of BSEN 12845, BS9251, NFPA, FM Global standards.
• Competency in AutoCAD 2D and hydraulic calculation software (e.g., FHC).
• Revit design experience is a desirable skill.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
