Job summary

Thornton Tomasetti is seeking an Engineer Intern to join our Structural Practice. You will gain hands-on experience on real-world projects, collaborating with engineers and architects to develop structural design solutions across steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems.

Working with BIM workflows, you will assist in producing construction documents and drawings while learning industry-standard tools and practices in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate student in civil/structural/architectural engineering.
• Strong academic record and passion for structural design.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and architects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to structural analysis, design, and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry and timber systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and design professionals to deliver high‑quality designs.
• Assist in preparing construction documents in a BIM environment.
