Job summary

Criterion Capital Ltd is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Architectural and Development team in Greater London. You will lead structural design from feasibility through technical design and construction, focusing on existing building conversions, refurbishment, adaptations, and new-build projects.

You will coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver safe, cost-effective, buildable solutions within programme, budget and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• UK post-graduate structural design experience (minimum 3 years).
• Experience in redevelopment/refurbishment/building conversions/adaptive reuse.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design, analyses, calculations and assessments for redevelopment, refurbishment, conversion and new-build projects.
• Produce and review structural drawings, specifications, calculations and technical reports for planning, tender and construction.
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, Eurocodes and British Standards.
• Coordinate structural design with architectural, building services and other engineering disciplines.
• Manage external consultants and resolve technical issues throughout design and construction.
• Identify structural risks and value engineering opportunities for existing buildings.
• Support submissions, building control approvals, contractor queries and design changes through delivery.
