Job summary

A reputable recruitment agency is seeking a driven Structural Engineer to design structures in various sectors, including residential and commercial. Responsibilities include managing projects ranging from £1m to £20m and conducting inspections. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and at least 2 years' experience. This role offers a competitive salary of £35k – £45k, along with a flexible working environment and support for professional development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' structural design experience across a variety of building types.
• Chartered or actively working towards IStructE or ICE chartership (not essential).
• Full UK driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Designing building structures across major sectors using steel, concrete, timber & masonry.
• Deliver projects from £1m to £20m, managing resources, fees, timelines, and quality.
• Conduct building inspections and structural reports with sound recommendations.

Strong technical and analytical design skills
