Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Stockton-on-Tees is seeking a Structural Engineer to design and assess concrete, masonry, steel and timber structures for a variety of UK projects. The role offers clear progression toward chartered status within a supportive consultancy environment.

You will work on schools, offices, residential and industrial schemes, ensuring compliance with UK codes and industry standards. A full UK driving license and experience with Tekla, AutoCAD and Revit are preferred.

Qualifications

• You must have a BSc in Civil/Structural Engineering and ideally an MSc.
• 2+ years of post-graduate experience with a civil/structural consulting firm.
• Likely working towards chartered status or keen to become chartered.
• Experience in design and assessment of concrete, masonry, steel and timber structures.
• UK codes and regulations knowledge essential; full UK driving licence required.
