Zodiac Recruitment is seeking a talented Structural Engineer for a Maidstone-based role. You will contribute to a range of projects from concept through to construction, delivering robust designs across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry elements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in structural design with steel, concrete, timber, masonry.
• Proficiency in Tekla, Tedds, or similar analysis software.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Design Standards, Codes of Practice.
• Experience delivering projects from concept to completion.
• Chartered or working towards with IStructE or ICE.
• Degree in Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality structural design across lifecycle from concept to construction.
• Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, and reports.

Role: Structural Engineer

Location: Maidstone

Salary: £34,000 to £49,000

Ref: MAR975

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Structural Engineer, to be based in Maidstone and work with an established national consultancy who have a healthy forward order book.

As a Structural Engineer, you will work within a talented and collaborative team of engineers and technicians, playing a key role in delivering high-quality design solutions. You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept design through to construction, working on a variety of challenging projects that make a real impact on the built environment. This role offers you the chance to grow professionally, take on greater responsibilities, and work on high-profile developments.

We are looking for an engineer who has a strong technical background, with experience in the design of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative engineering, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to liaise with clients and contractors. What You Need To Succeed

• Proven experience in structural design, with knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Tekla, Tedds, or similar.
