Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions is seeking a graduate to join an established engineering consultancy in Newark, working on structural projects across education and public sectors. The role offers hybrid working after settling in and a chance to develop design and inspection capabilities.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Structural degree and around 2-3 years post-graduate experience, with a good grasp of structural design principles and building structures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of structural design principles.
• Experience working on building structures.
• Ability to undertake site inspections and assessments.
• Confidence producing clear technical reports.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the design and delivery of structural engineering projects.
• Working across school and education schemes.
• Undertaking council and structural inspections.
• Preparing technical reports following site assessments.
• Producing structural design calculations and technical information.
• Assisting with drawings and project documentation.
• Coordinating with clients, consultants and wider project teams.
• Supporting projects through different stages of design and delivery.
