Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd is seeking a Structural Engineer for a Berkshire-based role in Reading outskirts. The position focuses on delivering detailed designs, calculations, and inspections across a range of building structures, from domestic extensions to larger schemes.

You will work closely with clients and external parties to ensure high-quality design outcomes. The ideal candidate has 3+ years UK post-graduate experience, a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, and strong communication

Qualifications

• 3+ years post-graduate UK experience in a consultancy
• Experience in building structures design
• Comfortable working independently on small to medium-sized schemes
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in structural analysis and design software (TEDDS, Tekla)
• Desirable: Chartered status with IStructE or ICE

Our client has a long-standing presence in the south of England and their Berkshire office is looking to bring in a structural engineer who has at least 3 years post graduate experience.

Great opportunity for a driven and practical engineer to deliver a wide variety of building structures projects from domestic extensions through to much larger schemes.

Working closely with clients and external parties, you will take on responsibility for details design, calculations and inspections with a strong focus on high-quality design.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• At least 3 years' post-graduate UK experience in a similar consultancy environment
• Proven experience in building structures design
• Comfortable working independently on small to medium-sized schemes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in structural analysis and design software (e.g., TEDDS, Tekla, or similar)
• Working towards Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE (desirable)
