Job summary

Liverpool-based multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join their building structures team. The role offers £35,000–£45,000 and permanent employment for candidates progressing toward professional accreditation.

You will work on schools, mixed-use and large residential projects up to 20 storeys, under the guidance of a chartered engineer, with exposure to Tedds, SCIA and Master Series and BIM Level 2 protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate member of IStructE (required).
• First-Class MEng or MSc in Structural, Civil or Architectural Engineering (required).
• Mentorship toward professional accreditation under a chartered engineer.

Responsibilities

• Work on a broad range of structural projects including schools, mixed-use developments and residential towers up to 20 storeys.
• Assist under a chartered structural engineer to develop technical skills towards accreditation.
• Apply BIM Level 2 protocols and use Tedds, SCIA and Master Series on projects.

About The Role

A Structural Engineer is sought by a multidisciplinary consultancy in Liverpool, offering £35,000 to £45,000 per annum on a permanent basis. This Multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy have a requirement for a Structural Design Engineer to join their building structures team as they continue to expand due to a large increase in their workload.

You will be working on a broad range of structural projects under the guidance of a chartered structural engineer who will support you in your professional development. Projects include schools, mixed use and large scale residential projects up to 20 storeys. They use Tedds, SCIA, and Master Series and operate at BIM level 2 for the majority of the their projects.

To be considered you will be a Graduate member of IStructE and have a MEng/MSc in Structural, Civil or Architectural Engineering with a First Class pass (Or equivalent). Having achieved this qualification you will have been working in a structural consultancy working as a structural design engineer in the UK on Structural projects.
