Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Liverpool is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join their building structures team. You will work on a broad range of structural projects under the guidance of a chartered structural engineer, supporting your professional development.

Projects include schools, mixed-use and large-scale residential up to 20 storeys. You will use Tedds, SCIA and Master Series, with BIM level 2 on most projects. A competitive package is on offer and there’s a start next year.

Qualifications

• Graduate member of IStructE and a First Class MEng/MSc in Structural, Civil or Architectural Engineering.
• Experience in a UK structural consultancy on structural projects.
• Proven ability to work under supervision and develop as a design engineer.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of structural components for schools, mixed-use and large residential projects.
• Work under a chartered structural engineer to develop professional skills.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and BIM workflows.

Job description

This Multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy have a requirement for a Structural Design Engineer to join their building structures team as they continue to expand due to a large increase in their workload.

You will be working on a broad range of structural projects under the guidance of a chartered structural engineer who will support you in your professional development. Projects include schools, mixed use and large scale residential projects up to 20 storeys. They use Tedds, SCIA, and Master Series and operate at BIM level 2 for the majority of the their projects.

To be considered you will be a Graduate member of IStructE and have a MEng/MSc in Structural, Civil or Architectural Engineering with a First Class pass (Or equivalent). Having achieved this qualification you will have been working in a structural consultancy working as a structural design engineer in the UK on Structural projects.
