The Opportunity

We are currently working with a leading international engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer looking to work on technically challenging, high-profile projects within a collaborative and forward-thinking engineering environment.

The Role

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering structural engineering design across a range of building projects.
• Producing structural calculations, reports and technical documentation.
• Developing structural schemes from concept through to detailed design.
• Working collaboratively with architects, façade engineers and other consultants.
• Supporting project delivery, technical coordination and design reviews.
• Assisting with site inspections and resolving technical issues where required.
• Using industry-standard design software and engineering principles to deliver robust solutions.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Relevant UK structural engineering consultancy experience.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
• Experience working on building structures and/or façade-related projects.
• Competent use of relevant structural design software.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ideally working towards or holding Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
