We are currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer on behalf of our client, a specialist engineering consultancy delivering innovative structural engineering solutions across the offshore energy sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their London-based office, in a permanent staff role.
We are looking for someone with around 5-10 years post graduate structural engineering experience within the offshore oil & gas or renewable energy sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis and design of offshore structures, undertaking detailed engineering calculations and finite element analysis to support projects from concept through to delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Around 5-10 years' structural engineering experience within the offshore oil & gas or renewable energy sectors (essential)
A degree in Structural, Civil or Marine Engineering (or a related discipline).
Experience using structural analysis software such as ANSYS and/or STAAD Pro.
Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA/FEM).
An understanding of offshore structural design principles, including environmental and hydrodynamic loading.
Familiarity with offshore design codes such as DNV, API, ABS or Eurocodes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a collaborative engineering team.
Experience with Python or MATLAB would be advantageous but is not essential.
