Job summary

Strata Consulting in Fareham is seeking a proactive Structural Engineer to contribute to long-term residential projects while collaborating on commercial, mixed-use and retail schemes.

You will be involved from initial concept through detailed design and construction, applying strong design, analysis and reporting skills. Chartered status is preferred, with an MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering and a solid grasp of UK regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience in structural engineering design.
• Strong understanding of design, analysis calculations and report writing.
• Preferable design experience residential projects including housing and low-rise apartments.
• Proficient with Tekla Structures, Tedds or MasterSeries.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards.
• Chartered with IStructE or ICE (preferred but not essential).
• MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Involved in residential projects and projects spanning commercial, mixed-use, residential and retail from concept through to construction.
• Perform design, analysis, calculations and reporting for structural elements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compliant solutions.
