Bennett and Game are representing an award-winning consultancy based in Bristol, who are seeking a structural engineer to join the team. Founded in 2007, this company is a dynamic and growing civil and structural engineering consultancy specialising in residential, office, public sector, and commercial projects. They are a close-knit team of engineers, who are looking for the right candidate to come onboard to support their growing workload.

Structural Engineer Salary & Benefits

• Salary £28,000 - £38,000, depending on experience
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

• Work within a small, dedicated, and friendly team
• Liaising with the whole project team internally and with clients
• Project management, with increasing responsibility for costs and budget

• Structural surveying and report writing
• Engage in a broad range of projects, from single-dwelling residential builds to large-scale commercial developments
• Flexibility with start and finish times, around the core working hours of Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm, with some hybrid working possible
• Employed on a permanent contract, working 37.5 hours per week
• MSc in structural/civil engineering plus 2-4 years relevant post-graduate experience
• A goal of achieving Chartership
• Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and load-bearing masonry structures
• Experience with relevant computer software, preferably BIM/Revit and 3D modelling
• Ability to design to the Eurocodes
