Job summary

Bridge Recruitment UK Limited is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a growing team on a variety of structural projects across the South East. You will design and deliver structural engineering solutions and travel to project sites as required across Sussex, Kent, London and Surrey.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in civil or structural engineering, at least five years' experience, and is or working toward Chartered Engineer status.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of five years' structural engineering experience.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working towards Chartership.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and structural design standards.
• Experience designing steel and timber structures.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites across Sussex, Kent, London and Surrey.

• Produce structural calculations and technical reports.
• Ensure designs comply with current Building Regulations and relevant British Standards/Eurocodes.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and other design professionals.

Location: South West

Salary: £50,000-£55,000, with up to £60,000 for a Chartered Engineer

My client for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a growing team, working on a variety of structural projects across the South East. The successful candidate will be involved in the design and delivery of structural engineering solutions and will be expected to travel to project sites across Sussex, Kent, London and Surrey when required.

• Ensure designs comply with current Building Regulations and relevant British Standards/Eurocodes.

Requirements

• Experience using Tekla Structural Designer would be advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites across Sussex, Kent, London and Surrey.

Salary & Benefits

• £50,000-£55,000, depending on experience.
