Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers in Wokingham is seeking a Structural Engineer with 5+ years post-graduate experience. The role covers concept to completion on building structures using timber, masonry, steel and reinforced concrete. You may be Chartered or nearing chartered, with mentorship available if not yet chartered.

The position offers hybrid working (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH) and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. A full UK driving licence and Revit/BIM familiarity are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Post-grad experience in Structural Engineering within building structures / construction.
• Experience with timber, masonry, steel, or reinforced concrete.
• Chartered status or near Chartered.
• Structural design experience and calculations.
• Site surveying experience and knowledge of UK design standards.
• Full UK Driving Licence; ideally Revit and BIM experience.

Responsibilities

• Working with other structural engineers and architects on projects from start to finish.
• Designing, analysing and conducting calculations for building structures.
• Working on commercial and residential projects.
• Conducting site surveys and ensuring projects run smoothly.

Structural Engineer

Location: Wokingham

Salary: £48,000 to £55,000

Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

An opportunity has opened for a Structural Engineer to join a construction and engineering company based in Wokingham. The ideal candidate will either be Chartered or nearly Chartered with 5+ years post-graduate experience. You will also be experienced within building structures with materials like masonry, timber, steel and/or reinforced concrete.

You will be involved in the full project lifecycle from concept to completion and working alongside architects and other Structural Engineers. If you arent chartered yet, you will receive mentorship to achieve this. They offer 25 days holiday + bank holidays and hybrid working.

Structural Engineer Key Skills:
