We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Structures and Fire Team based in our Belfast office to work on a diverse range of projects across both the Private and Public Sector.

About The Team:

The Structural Engineering Sector within RPS has been responsible for some of the UK and Ireland’s most prestigious buildings, including the iconic £97m Titanic Belfast Building. We are engaged on many exciting schemes in both private and public sectors, offering a diverse range of interesting projects for the right person to thrive. The successful candidate will receive mentorship and training to achieve Chartered Status and will work within a team of experienced colleagues who will support your professional growth.

About The Role:

• Deliver full structural engineering design services on development projects for Commercial and Industrial buildings;
• Collaborate with structural technicians to translate designs into drawings;
• Design structural elements using concrete, steel, timber, and masonry;
• Work with senior staff to ensure technical project delivery;
• Receive mentoring in all aspects of your role;
• Liaise with the Design team and attend meetings;
• Enjoy excellent career progression opportunities;
• Conduct site visits for inspections;
• Prepare reports as needed.

About You:

• MEng / BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with Architecture;
• Knowledge of Computational Structural Analysis software (Masterseries, Orion, Tedds, or similar);
• Experience with BIM and 3D Modelling Software (Revit);
• Familiarity with UK design codes, Euro codes, and specifications;
• Ability to work independently and within a team;
• Commitment to CPD and progressing toward Chartership;
• Willingness to learn;
• Full UK driving license;
• Chartered Engineer, member of IStructE or ICE.
