2025 sees MoneyGram Haas F1 Team celebrate its tenth season in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship… we’re just getting started. We don’t follow the status quo, we’re here to challenge the competition, and we want you to join us.
The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Nine years later, and the team continues to demonstrate growth and a clear direction with its future objectives – coming off the back of its second-best season to-date in Formula 1.
We’re a racing team – not a corporate machine. We have three HQs – Kannapolis in the US, Banbury in the UK and Maranello in Italy – each powered by passionate, loyal and hardworking team ambassadors. General Summary:
This position reports to the Deputy Chief Designer & Structure or their designee; is located in Maranello, Italy. Responsible for structural design and analysis of F1 Chassis related components.
Key Responsibilities:
Education and Work Experience:
University degree in Mechanical, aeronautical or equivalent Engineering, and preferably a master’s degree in relevant subject. Minimum requirement of 5 years work experience in engineering environment, of which 3 must be in a professional motorsports environment.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Ability to work and prioritize within a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment while maintaining a methodical and organized approach is essential. The role may require domestic and international travel, and willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends. Mainly office-based, but involves supervision of full-scale component testing. May require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting, and manual dexterity. The environment includes machinery, race cars, rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must comply with the Company Health and Safety Policy and relevant legislation.
