Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering required.
• Membership of ICE or IStructE advantageous; Chartered status desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out structural inspections and site surveys
• Preparing structural calculations, specifications and technical reports
• Assessing building defects and recommending remedial solutions
• Producing and reviewing structural designs
• Supporting projects from initial investigation through to completion
• Liaising with clients, contractors, architects and other consultants
• Ensuring work complies with UK Building Regulations, British Standards and Eurocodes
