Job DescriptionSalary: $20-$32/hr.

OVERVIEW

At Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. (DBF), our Structural CAD Technicians play an essential supporting role in the production of infrastructure designs. Our technicians help enhance, maintain, and protect the communities we serve. Our mission is to improve the quality of life through problem-solving and design.

We seek a problem-solving, driven, and reliable individual who can identify opportunities for improvement and participate in their implementation. This role involves supporting the Structural Engineering department in Milford and Salisbury offices with drafting and developing construction drawings for infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Utilize design software to accurately render and communicate designs, plans, and related systems.
2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and surveyors on model accuracy, drafting standards, and documentation.
3. Prepare project documentation for client submissions.
4. Incorporate feedback to refine designs and develop solutions.
5. Provide timely technical support.
6. Manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.

EDUCATION & SKILLS

High school diploma or GED required. Basic knowledge of building and structural design. At least 2 years of experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
