Job Description:

We are seeking a Structural Technician to join our client, a nationwide Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy, at their Henley office. The Senior Structural Engineer will work on various multi-storey RC Frame projects in Residential and Commercial Development sectors. This new role has arisen due to new business with clients in the house development and hospitality sectors.

• Assist and empower a team of engineers and technicians on residential projects
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
• Work independently and collaboratively, reviewing drawings meticulously
• Create detailed substructure and superstructure drawings using AutoCAD
• Provide progress reports to senior staff
• Address technical and construction queries promptly
• Participate in project and site meetings and inspections
• Review third-party designs for quality assurance
• HNC qualification is a plus but not mandatory
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
• Revit experience is highly beneficial
• Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures is advantageous
• Experience with CAD and project management in related sectors
