Job summary

Future Recruitment Ltd. is assisting a leading bespoke corrugated packaging manufacturer to recruit a Structural Designer. The role is primarily office-based and focuses on creating innovative packaging structures using AG Kasemake and 3D modelling tools.

You will develop prototypes, perform material analyses, and prepare detailed specifications and drawings for production and retail environments, including supplier and formas setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in corrugated packaging design and development.
• Strong CAD skills with experience in Kasemake and 3D modelling.
• Ability to interpret client briefs and translate into production-ready designs.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative corrugated packaging structures using AG Kasemake and 3D tools.
• Develop prototypes, conduct material analyses, and perform structural tests.
• Prepare detailed specifications and drawings for production and retail use.
• Evaluate existing packaging for cost, style, function and ease of assembly.
• Collaborate with Sales and Manufacturing to align with project goals.
• Monitor design trends and propose sustainable, competitive packaging solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and design innovations.
• Support training and development within the design studio.
