Qualifications

• Must have structural design experience within corrugated packaging or POS.

WEST MIDLANDS - OFFICE BASED 5 DAYS A WEEK

SALARY £OPEN + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Bank Holidays

WORK HOURS - Monday to Friday: 9am till 5pm (Can be amended slightly to suit)

Our client is a specialist within the design and manufacture of corrugated products and packaging solutions. With many years' experience in product development and production they have earned a commanding reputation.

They are currently looking to recruit a Structural Designer to fulfil the structural side of the design department experience with Corrugated Packaging or Corrugated Point of Sale Experience is essential

The ideal candidate will have structural design experience and knowledge of standard Corrugated packaging, ideally a background used to out putting fefco styles, die cuts, SRPs, FSDU's, CDU's etc

Responsibilities / Requirements:

• Design viable designs from customer briefs for corrugated packaging and point of sale
• Produce accurate and clear assembly diagrams to support manufacturing and production
• Create high quality 3D rendering for design concepts
• Work collaboratively within a fast paced moving team
• Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer and production requirements
• Maintain excellent organisation, time management and communication skills while managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Bring a strong creative streak with the ability to develop fresh and engaging design ideas
• Demonstrate innovation and individuality while ensuring designs remain practical, commercially viable and suitable for production
• A positive and collaborative team player with enthusiasm, commitment and genuine passion for design and packaging
