H&H is offering an exciting opportunity for a Structural/Bridge Engineer to join the Bedford, NH team.

We are currently growing our design services and client base to support client and project needs in the Structural/Transportation focus areas. The successful candidate will assist in the design of simple and complex fixed bridges, movable bridges, and perform bridge inspections with a growing office. Responsibilities

1. Perform structural design and analysis tasks for projects including bridge rehabilitation and replacement under the supervision of a senior engineer.
2. Prepare detailed plans and construction documents for assigned tasks.
3. Perform engineering calculations supporting detailed plans and construction documents.
4. Develop contract specifications, bid documents, and technical reports.
5. Conduct occasional field site visits and bridge inspections.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE License or the ability to obtain one within two years.
• At least three years of Structural Engineering experience focused on bridge design.
• Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final bridge design following federal and state codes.
• Proficiency with current FEM modeling software.
• Experience with MicroStation.
• Effective teamwork skills, detail-oriented, self-starter, and proficient in verbal and written communication.
