Job Summary

This role offers a great opportunity to join a successful, established team working alongside some of the industry's top engineers. It involves working on a diverse portfolio of major projects across the UK.

• Minimum of four years post-graduation experience in civil engineering design
• At least three years’ experience in bridge design, including loading to Eurocodes, element design, and detailing
• Experience of bridge loading to Eurocodes
• Experience in steel and concrete design to Eurocodes
• Proficiency with structural analysis software
• Experience producing design deliverables such as drawings, specifications, and supervising engineers and BIM/CAD technicians
• Ideally, experience with composite steel/concrete, masonry, geotechnical, and timber design to Eurocodes
• Experience with finite element analysis software is a plus
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work independently and in a team to meet project and client objectives
• Problem-solving attitude to develop cost-effective and innovative engineering solutions
• Awareness of project costs, deadlines, and budgets
• Willingness to seek advice when necessary

Qualifications

• BEng or MEng degree
• Working towards Chartered Civil Engineer status (CEng, MICE, or MIStructE)
