A leading healthcare provider is searching for a dedicated Stroke Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist to join their inpatient team. Banding: Band 6 or 7
Location: London, Greater London
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Our NHS client is looking for an experienced and caring Band 6 or 7 Stroke/Neuro Occupational Therapist to join their inpatient team in London. The post is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for a short term contract.
What will your responsibilities be?
The postholder will work within an outpatient neurological service with patients who have recently being diagnosed with a neurological event. The appointed Therapist will be part of the interdisciplinary team (IDT) delivering high quality specialist occupational therapy for clients by adherence to clinical governance and evidence-based practice. The postholder will provide service in a range of community settings using highly developed specialist practice underpinned by theoretical knowledge/neuro qualifications. Applying therapists should have previous experience in neuro or stroke to be considered for this role.
Qualifications and Experiences:
• Be HCPC registered as an Occupational therapist
• Hold a relevant qualification in Occupational therapy
• 6 months NHS experience within an in-patient stroke or neuro setting
• The ability to build good rapport with patients
• Excellent interpersonal skills
