Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a development opportunity towards becoming a Senior Physiotherapist within our Stroke Early Supported Discharge Team and Inpatient Stroke Unit on the Isle of Wight. You will deliver high‑quality physiotherapy across settings and contribute to service development.

Qualifications

• NHS experience and multidisciplinary working within a stroke pathway.
• Autonomous practice with ability to lead on patient management.
• Evidence of CPD and continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, deliver and evaluate the physiotherapy service on a day-to-day basis.
• Advanced assessment and treatment for stroke patients in the unit and ICSS.
• Supervise, teach and appraise junior staff and students.
• Participate in MDT training, audits and service development activities.
