Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking an enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker for Branwen Ward, a stroke rehabilitation ward at Deeside Community Hospital. The role is fixed term/secondment for 18 months until 19 February 2028.

You'll support nurses, deliver holistic care, and work in a team committed to patient wellbeing in North Wales. Welsh language ability is desirable; applications in Welsh are welcome.

Qualifications

• NVQ - Level 3 or equivalent.
• Literacy and numeracy requirements.
• Experience on a ward is essential.
• Experience in healthcare environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist registered nurses in delivering care as per the nursing care plan.
• Perform duties under supervision for the shift.
• Support patients and families to maintain health and wellbeing.
