Job summary

ARCA Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Senior Stress Engineer for a Bristol-based aerospace programme. You will lead delegated stress analysis across the airframe, ensuring structural integrity of primary structures.

Responsibilities include creating FEMs for primary/secondary structures, laminate analysis, and substantiation; conducting fatigue, fracture and vibration analysis under mission loads. You will collaborate with Design teams to resolve stress-driven issues and produce certification

Qualifications

• Experience performing FEM for primary/secondary structures.
• Experience with fatigue/ fracture analysis is a plus.
• Ability to produce clear certification documentation.

ARCA is partnered with a client in the aerospace sector who is looking for an experienced Senior Stress Engineer to join their team.

You will support airframe structural analysis, taking responsibility for delegated stress analysis across the programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Creation and execution of FEM for primary and secondary structures
• Composite laminate analysis and structural substantiation
• Fatigue, fracture and vibration analysis under mission loads

Required Experience

• NASTRAN / HyperMesh (or equivalent FEA tools)
• Signatory in Static Composites / Metallics / FE preferred
• Production of stress reports and certification documentation
• Working closely with Design teams to resolve stress-driven design challenges
