  • Produce formal calculations and supporting documentation with clear traceability to source data
  • Support aircraft surveys and tests through Stress Office and AEC processes to certify designs to regulatory specifications
  • Check calculations and drawings, contribute to design reviews, and present findings and recommendations
  • Mentor junior engineers and help improve methods and team processes
What you'll bring:
  • Strong experience working on aerospace products and/or aircraft modifications
  • Expertise in stress/structural analysis for primary and secondary structures, using both hand calculations and FEM
  • Confident use of FEM tools such as FEMAP/NX Nastran, Hyperworks, and Abaqus
  • Experience with fatigue & damage tolerance analysis, including both metallic and composite structures
  • Ability to document high-quality stress calculations and reports using tools such as MathCad / PTC Prime, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
Additional information:
  • Experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) for a CAA/EASA 21J and/or MAA DAOS organisation is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of Defence Standard 00-970 is desirable
