Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is hiring Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives for UK fieldwork. The role involves setting up and managing temporary traffic lights, reading CAD drawings and ensuring safety and compliance on site.

Candidates should have Lantra Traffic Management qualifications, a valid UK driving licence, and be able to pass drugs and alcohol checks. Right to work in the UK is required, with up to six points on the licence.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications (essential).
• Keep up to date with health and safety requirements and RAMS.
• Right to work in the UK and a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing traffic flow at temporary lights and ensuring public compliance.
• Reporting issues to site or operations manager.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within required timescales.
• Setting up traffic lights and assisting with traffic diversions.
• Ensuring safe working practices and compliance with risk assessments.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
