Job summary

Pinson TM Limited in the United Kingdom is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to support major traffic management clients across the UK. This is a hands-on role for motivated individuals.

Duties include setting up and managing temporary traffic lights, directing traffic, interpreting CAD traffic management drawings, and reporting to site or operations managers. A driving licence with up to six points, and passing a Drugs & Alcohol check are required.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved traffic management qualifications required.
• Experience in traffic management roles preferred.
• Ability to read CAD traffic management drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this.
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this

• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
