Job summary

Pinson TM Limited in the United Kingdom is recruiting Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join leading traffic management projects. We require operatives and drivers with experience, ready to work on site and meet targets.

Key duties include setting up temporary traffic lights, managing flow, interpreting CAD drawings, and maintaining safety in line with RAMS and Health & Safety rules. Valid Lantra qualifications and a clean UK driving licence preferable.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in UK.
• Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights as required.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary lights to ensure public compliance.
• Report to site or operations manager as needed.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within set time scales.
• Ensure safe working practices per Method Statements and RAMS.
• Report plant and vehicle defects.
• Assist with unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure team works safely and effectively to meet quality.
• Be aware of Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
