Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives for roles across the UK, including Nottingham. The positions involve setting up traffic management, controlling traffic flow, and ensuring safety compliance.

Candidates should have Lantra Traffic Management qualifications, the right to work in the UK, a full UK driving licence with up to six points, and be able to pass drugs and alcohol checks. Training opportunities are available for the right candidates.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights at roads as required.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary lights and ensure public compliance.
• Report issues to site or operations manager promptly.
• Be reliable with a good attitude to work.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within required timeframes.
• Set up and adjust traffic lights to ensure smooth flow.
• Assist with diversions of traffic as needed.
• Ensure the team works safely and to required quality.

What we are looking for

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

Scope of Role

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
