Job summary

Pinson TM Limited in Mansfield is recruiting for Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join a leading UK traffic management client. You will work on-site to support road safety, set up temporary traffic lights, and ensure smooth traffic flow.

Duties include reading CAD traffic management drawings, reporting defects, complying with RAMS and Health & Safety at Work, and assisting with loading and unloading materials.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in UK.
• Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing traffic flow at the temporary lights to ensure public safety.
• Reporting issues to site or operations manager.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act.
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within required time scales.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
