Job summary

Pinson TM Limited are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to support major UK traffic management projects. You will work with direct and sub-contract labour to meet targets and deadlines.

Duties include setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow, reading CAD traffic management drawings, and ensuring safety and RAMS compliance. Licences and Lantra qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved traffic management qualifications are required or preferred.
• Candidate must be able to pass a drugs and alcohol check.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points is required.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at required roads.
• Managing traffic flow at temporary signals and ensuring public compliance.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within required timescales.
• Ensuring safe working practices and compliance with RAMS and health & safety.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
