Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is seeking Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join its expanding UK team. Successful candidates will work on streetworks projects, setting up traffic lights and managing flows on site, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Ideal applicants will hold Lantra traffic management qualifications, be able to pass drugs/alcohol checks, have the right to work in the UK, and possess a full UK driving licence with limited points.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management qualifications.
• Ability to pass a drugs and alcohol check.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing traffic flow at temporary lights and ensuring public compliance.
• Reporting to site or operations manager as needed.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within required time scales.
• Assisting with traffic diversion and ensuring safe working practices.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
