Job summary

Network Plus in Derby is seeking a Streetworks Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead a team of Streetworks administrators responsible for analysing charges and liaising with clients under Streetworks legislation. The role is based at Brunel House, Derby, with a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per year.

The successful candidate will manage the team, ensure SLA compliance, and navigate Street Manager and related permit schemes to protect the business from liability.

Qualifications

• Experience in running and mentoring a team.
• Ability to prioritise workload under time pressure.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of New Road and Street Works Act and Highway Permit Schemes.
• Experience with Street Manager is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resource the team, including weekend requirements, ensuring adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance is maintained in line with contractual KPIs and SLAs.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to resolve charges and queries.
• Investigate charges thoroughly and align rejections with legislation.
• Provide feedback to clients within agreed SLAs.
• Feed areas for improvement into other teams within the department.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders.
