Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly organised Planner to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract, coordinating and scheduling works across essential utility and infrastructure projects.

You will work with operational teams, supervisors, clients and customers to allocate work, monitor progress, obtain permits, and maintain planning systems, ensuring service levels are met and delivery is safe, efficient and customer-focused.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a planning, scheduling or coordination role.
• Experience using Street Manager, Aurora, or similar planning systems.
• Good understanding of street works, traffic management requirements and utility planning processes.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word.
• A positive, solution-focused approach and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Previous experience within the utilities, infrastructure or civil engineering sectors (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule works to meet service levels and contractual commitments.
• Allocate work and monitor progress with operational teams, supervisors, clients and customers.
• Obtain and maintain permits and notices; respond to client requests.
• Maintain planning systems and information to ensure safe, efficient delivery.
• Support delivery of essential utility and infrastructure projects.
