Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions Ltd is hiring a Planner to join a fast-paced, utility and infrastructure services team in Hemel Hempstead. You will coordinate and schedule works, liaising with operations, supervisors, clients and customers to ensure projects meet SLAs while maximizing workforce efficiency.

The role requires strong organisational skills, experience with planning systems such as Street Manager or Aurora, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a planning, scheduling or coordination role.
Experience using Street Manager, Aurora, or similar planning systems.
Good understanding of street works, traffic management requirements and utility planning processes.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word.
A positive, solution-focused approach and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule works to ensure service level agreements are achieved while maximizing workforce efficiency.
Allocate work, monitor progress, manage backlogs, and ensure permits and notices are obtained and maintained.
Provide accurate information to field teams, respond to client requests, resolve planning issues, and maintain relevant systems to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of customer service.
