Hays are currently recruiting a Street Work Inspector for a local council on an initial 12-month contract to provide technical support within the Highway Works Permit Team. This role ensures the effective and efficient running of customer-focused services required to meet the Council’s objectives. The Street Work Inspector will manage and inspect works carried out by all organisations on the Highway Network, ensuring coordination in accordance with legislation to minimise disruption to users, including local residents and traders.
