Job summary

idverde is seeking a dedicated Street Cleansing Operative in Swindon to perform essential cleaning tasks, including bin empting, sweeping, litter picking, leaf clearing and removal of small fly tips. The role requires physical fitness and a positive outdoor work attitude.

Applicants should have a full UK driving license as a van is provided during working hours; previous street cleansing experience is desirable. This is a permanent, full-time position with regular hours.

Location: Swindon

Hourly Rate: £12.71

Contract type: Permanent, Full-time

Working hours: Monday - Thursday, 06:30 - 14:30 & Friday, 06:30 - 14:00 (37 hours)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Street Cleansing Operative to join our team. This role involves carrying out vital street cleansing tasks, including bin emptying, sweeping, litter picking, leaf clearing and removal of small fly tips, to help keep our streets clean and welcoming for the community. Requirements

• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks & walking between required locations.
• Previous experience as a street cleansing operative would be highly desirable, with experience of driving tipper vans.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Full UK driving license is essential as van will be provided during working hours.
