Job summary

Manpower UK Limited is seeking a cleansing operative to maintain Northampton’s streets and public spaces. You’ll empty bins, collect litter, and move waste to designated points, serving as a visible and valued team member in the community.

The role requires independence, good attention to detail, physical fitness for outdoor work, and the ability to engage politely with the public to uphold a positive town image.

Working hours: 07: 30 - 15:30 Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays (7.5 hours per day)

About the role

Do you take pride in your community and enjoy working outdoors? We're looking for a cleansing operative to help keep Northampton clean and tidy. As a visible and valued member of the team, you'll be responsible for emptying bins, collecting litter, moving waste to designated collection points, and ensuring public areas remain welcoming for everyone.
