Job summary

Northumberland County Council is recruiting for a NEAT Team Operative/Driver in Berwick-upon-Tweed. The role covers Tweedmouth Depot with a 37-hour week on a fixed-term contract. You will deliver street cleansing, grounds maintenance and public conveniences to set schedules and standards.

You must hold a full driving licence, be able to work weekends, and comply with CoSHH safety policies and driving regulations. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• You must be a trained Grounds, Public Convenience and Street Cleansing Operative with experience of carrying out vehicle checks and CoSHH safety policies.
• Knowledge of legislation and regulations relating to driving is required.
• Must hold a full driving licence and be available to work at weekends.

• Provide an efficient street cleansing, public convenience and grounds-maintenance service to predetermined standards and schedules.
