Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a street sweeper driver to work in the street cleansing department. Duties include litter patrol, litter picking, bin delivery, and refuse loading of collection vehicles. Hours are 37 per week, Monday to Thursday 7.00 to 15.00 and Friday 7.00 to 14.30, with potential work on public holidays. A manual gearbox licence will be needed for operation of sweepers.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions.
• Capable of walking up to 15 miles per day.
• Able to drive a manual gearbox vehicle.
• Minimum one reference from current or most recent employer.
